The Ideal Candidate:

  • Dynamic and organized person;
  • Graduate of higher education;
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting and tax legislation;
  • Relevant practical experience of at least 3 years in an accounting department;
  • Knowledge of SAGA software – an advantage;
  • Experience in accounting in a construction company is an advantage;
  • Ability to analyse and meet deadlines;
  • Effective planning and communication skills;
  • Efficiency in working with documents, following working procedures
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in recording operations;
  • Experience in completing /generating tax returns – an advantage
Requirements:
  • Sound knowledge of accounting;
  • Knowledge of Excel (intermediate level – functions, pivot tables);
  • Supervision of reconciliations and closing of accounts;
  • Preparing the work to close the accounts on time and drawing up the annual financial statements;
  • Participation in audit missions;
  • Preparation of all monthly and quarterly statements;
  • Checking depreciation, revaluations and payroll accounting notes;
  • Monitoring supplier/customer contracts;
  • Continuously monitor financial and accounting legislation and ensure compliance;
  • Ongoing analysis of the impact of legislative and regulatory changes;
  • Preparation of reports requested by Management;
  • Checking the monthly balance sheet;
  • Checking and operating payroll and leave provision notes;
  • Checking journals
  • Checking transaction correlations (on the types of transactions generating the automatic accounting notes);
  • Checking and correcting (where applicable) transactions with partners
  • Preparation of accounting notes on advances to suppliers),
  • Ensuring the flow of accounting operations according to internal regulations
  • Supporting responsible and sustained activity
  • Ability to focus and identify early on the essential elements that may bring imbalances in the specific activity.
