WALDEVAR and Singsun Energy enter strategic cooperation to accelerate renewable energy projects across Europe
WALDEVAR and Singsun Energy have entered into a strategic cooperation agreement aimed at accelerating the development and delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects across Europe. This combines Singsun’s manufacturing and technology capabilities in photovoltaic mounting systems with WALDEVAR’s expertise in project execution and integrated energy infrastructure.
The cooperation marks an important step in Singsun Energy’s expansion into Romania and the wider Central and Eastern European market, while strengthening WALDEVAR’s access to advanced manufacturing capabilities for the delivery of large-scale photovoltaic projects. The partnership will initially support the development of ground-mounted PV projects in Romania, including projects in Dobrești, Dolj, and will create a framework for further cooperation across European markets.
The two companies will collaborate across the renewable energy value chain, with a focus on photovoltaic mounting systems, energy storage solutions and grid-supporting infrastructure, combining manufacturing, engineering, local assembly and project execution capabilities.

“This partnership unites two strengths that fit naturally together: Singsun’s expertise in manufacturing and technology, and WALDEVAR’s track record in developing and delivering complex renewable energy projects across Europe. For us, the cooperation is about far more than supplying equipment. We’re forming a long-term partnership capable of carrying projects all the way from manufacturing and engineering to on-the-ground execution and grid integration. As Europe accelerates the rollout of renewable energy infrastructure, this is exactly the kind of collaboration we believe can make a real difference,” said Christian Leonte, CEO of WALDEVAR Holding.
The cooperation also provides a platform for Singsun Energy to deepen its presence in the European renewable energy market. As a global manufacturer of photovoltaic mounting systems and a new energy division of Guoqiang Group, Singsun brings extensive experience in the development and manufacturing of fixed-tilt, adjustable-tilt and single-axis tracking systems, alongside energy storage enclosure solutions.
“Romania and Central and Eastern Europe represent important growth markets for renewable energy, and our cooperation with WALDEVAR gives us the opportunity to combine our manufacturing capabilities with strong local project execution. We see significant potential to develop this partnership further, particularly as the market increasingly requires integrated solutions across PV, storage and grid infrastructure,” said YUAN JIAW WEI, Vice president, Singsun.
The agreement adds another strategic technology and manufacturing partnership to WALDEVAR’s European growth platform, supporting its ambition to deliver increasingly integrated energy infrastructure projects across the continent.
