Contract signed for the Nuf\u0103rul Project, the largest photovoltaic floating system installed on a hydroelectric dam in Europe<\/strong><\/p> Following an open tender process, Hidroelectrica<\/strong> has awarded WALDEVAR Energy<\/strong> the contract for the Nuf\u0103rul Project<\/em> \u2013 a pioneering renewable energy initiative that will become the largest floating photovoltaic park ever deployed on a hydroelectric dam in Europe. The project will be implemented on the Ipote\u0219ti Dam<\/strong>, located on the Olt River<\/strong>, one of Romania\u2019s key hydropower corridors.<\/p> WALDEVAR Energy marks a defining moment in its journey as an integrator of complex renewable energy solutions.<\/strong><\/p> This contract, valued at 39,250,000 RON (excluding VAT)<\/strong>, reaffirms our role as a reliable partner for delivering EPC solutions<\/strong> \u2013 from technical concept and design to procurement, construction, commissioning, and integration into the national grid.<\/p> Implementation timeline: 14 months<\/strong> \ud83d\udd27 WALDEVAR Energy will deliver a full turnkey execution<\/strong>, including: “This is Hidroelectrica\u2019s first floating photovoltaic system project and marks a success in our efforts to expand innovation and diversify our production portfolio.
